Legal basis
The data collected as part of your donation is specially protected as personal data of a special category (political opinion) pursuant to Art. 9 GDPR. Processing is lawful pursuant to Art. 9 (2) (d) GDPR.
Providing your personal data as part of the donation is voluntary but necessary for the donation to be processed. Your data will be processed as part of the donation process in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR to fulfill a contract.
Further contact with information about the use of the donation or sending donation appeals is based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. For data subjects who have already supported us with a donation, processing as part of donation appeals represents a legitimate interest.
The transmission of your data to the responsible tax office, our auditing firm, and the German Bundestag is based on legal obligations in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.
The legal basis for archiving donor data and donation receipts is Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR and, alternatively, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR if a legal obligation exists. Providing evidence and tracking the relationship with the data subject constitute a legitimate interest.
The legal basis for processing your contact details for other purposes is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, change, or delete their personal information at any time (the username cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and change this information.
Objection
